NEW YORK (October 31, 2025) – The New York Post and 2WAY, the interactive live video platform devoted to unique conversations, unbiased discourse, and open debate, announced today a special election night program as part of their ongoing partnership.
The program, powered by 2WAY, will air Tuesday, November 4, starting at 8pm ET, focusing on key races in New York, New Jersey, and Virginia, as well as other races around the country, with real-time results, analysis, and audience participation. This year’s election marks a historic mayoral race with candidates Andrew Cuomo, Zohran Mamdani, and Curtis Sliwa locked in a heated race that has drawn intense national media attention and may determine the course of New York’s political future.
The election night special builds on the success of the “Postgame: The NYC Mayoral Debate” show, which marked the debut collaboration between the New York Post and 2WAY and covered the first New York City mayoral debate on Thursday, October 16.
2WAY’s editor-in-chief Mark Halperin will serve as the show host live from the New York Post studios and will be joined by leading New York Post journalists and prominent newsmakers, including financial correspondent Lydia Moynihan, columnist Rikki Schlott, City Hall Bureau Chief Craig McCarthy and other reporters and members of the New York Post editorial board. Reflecting 2WAY’s signature interactive format, the program will invite viewers to join the conversation in real-time by asking questions and engaging directly in election night banter.
“This is shaping up to be one of the most consequential elections, especially for New York City,” says Halperin. “We’re proud to once again partner with the New York Post to deliver a truly interactive experience, where viewers can engage directly with the 2WAY community and the New York Post team to debate the results, the surprises, and the leaders who’ll define what comes next.”
2WAY is a new kind of live media network built for interactive engagement, where audiences participate directly with journalists, experts, and cultural voices on the issues shaping society. The platform’s flagship programs include The Morning Meeting and 2WAY Tonight, both hosted by Halperin, along with a dynamic lineup of other popular shows such as Citizen McCain hosted by Meghan McCain, The Moynihan Report with Michael Moynihan, and Random Offense with Ethan Strauss. Together, they represent a bold experiment in bringing audiences into the conversation not just as spectators, but as contributors.
“New Yorkers will turn to the New York Post on election night for fast, sharp coverage and clear insight,” said Sean Giancola, Publisher & CEO of the New York Post. “Partnering with 2WAY lets us take that even further, giving our audience the chance to engage directly, share their perspectives, and be part of the night’s conversation as the results come in.”
Born as America’s oldest continuously published newspaper to a national digital force, the New York Post has become one of the country’s most provocative, influential, and iconic news brands.
The announcement comes on the heels of several standout moments across the 2WAY network. During a recent taping of 2WAY Tonight in Washington, D.C., Interior Secretary Doug Burgum made an impromptu appearance, joining Halperin for a spontaneous discussion on energy policy. Meanwhile, Citizen McCain has welcomed notable guests including Bret Baier, Cheryl Hines, and George Santos, reflecting 2WAY’s growing role at the intersection of politics, media, and culture.
